This year we will be honouring the 40th anniversary of the release of Grease the movie

Our little festival originated 7 years ago as a tribute to my parents. Today would have been their wedding anniversary, so heres to you Mum and Dad

Hi all, just a quick update.

in resent weeks we have added a Francetonbury page to my Facebook account   www.facebook.com/francetonbury

we also put out the following message:

Due to cancelations we have a couple of spaces for acts to play at our little music festival in Brittany France. We are possibly the only British run festival in France and feature bands / artists from France and the UK. We are a non profit making event and offer Free Entry, Free Camping Space, Low cost Good Quality food and drink. All pa. back line, lights and drums are provided. So why not come and holiday with us and be apart of the great family and friends atmosphere. please get in touch for more details.

we had a good response from this but as yet nothing confirmed to fill these last spots.

We would like to think that we have helped one or two acts to establish themselves on the gigging scene back here in Torbay and we would very much like to encourage one or two more to come to Francetonbury. at the time of writing we may have space for a few people on our mini bus leaving Torquay on the 21st August for the week.

Hi Folks.

We're about to start organising this years event.

once again it will be a fantastic weekend for all our family and friends of Francetonbury.

Hi Peeps.    only 9 days to go until Francetonbury 15.

  We"re just having the site washed

but fear not, the 10 day forecast says clear and dry with temperature at about 26ºC.

In addition to the usual great music we will be acknowledging the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland. on the Saturday of the festival some of us will be dressing up for the occasion.

Hi all.

It seems like Francetonbury 2014 was ages ago now, After two weddings and a funeral, we'll two weddings anyway, Ive finally found a few minuets to write a line or two on this webbiesite thingy,

Hope you all had a great time we certainly did,  A Gurt BIG thank you to everyone that attended and especially to all those that helped with all the preparation, cutting grass, erecting marquees, gazebo's, bouncy castle, Stage's, catering area's and even a cricket pitch and an even BIGGER THANK YOU to all the wonderful musicians and singers that gave up their time to come and entertain us and make it such a great event.

Time to get this show on the road, Only 48 days to go.  we will soon be finalising this years line up so if your band hasn't been contacted please get in touch.

April 5th

Today is Dad's birthday and as some of you will know the festival was created in his honor.and on this day Im am pleased to announce that this years festival will be held on August 22nd and 23rd.

Yesterday the line up for Glastonbury 2014 was announced with the exception of the Saturday night head liner, it has strongly been rumored that Prince would be filling that slot.

I can assure you that at Francetonbury,2014, Prince , Queen and the Kings of Leon will not be attending.... ho hum! maybe next year
